Allison Frost is a wildlife photographer. She currently lives on the East End of Long Island with her husband and their dog and cat. Curious about the other inhabitants of the Hamptons (the ones that most people ignore in favor of the glitz and glam of summer stereotypes) she took to stalking and snapping the portraits of squirrels, egrets, and hoverflies. To the aphids and wasps in her backyard, she is the paparazzi.
Between 2008 and 2011, she ran a blog called Wild Westhampton, in which she repeated herself quite a lot. Now she is toying with the idea of creating a more general blog/photo diary.
Allison is pretty decent at ID'ing birds and mammals; however, when it comes to insects she's pretty terrible. She doesn't even know the difference between a wasp, a bee, and a hornet!
